Natasha started biking 19 years ago; while in New Zealand she rode downhill mountain bike trails on a BMX. Now you will find her on her big downhill bike or cruising the cross country trails in Rossland. Natasha runs a Women's Action Sports Community called BettyGoHard.Com, which is focused on creating experiences to bring women together; opportunities for women to develop networks and friendships that will inspire them to pursue their passions and let go of their inhibitions. Maya Grosch :Maya lives in Nelson and started her mountain biking 17 years ago in Whistler. She has a recent silver medal for BC Cup Masters Downhill racing and plenty of freeride skills. Maya is a fully qualified mountain bike instructor and as a mom of two kids, she loves to work with women and youth. The first time Maya got on a mountain bike was 1987 in Whistler, BC. On her fully rigid ride she returned dirt-smeared, bruised and tired but absolutely exhilarated from the experience - it was love on first ride. Seventeen years later...she had moved to Nelson, married, become a mom of two and yet always retained her passion for mountain biking. She has three years of certified coaching experience, instructing women and youth in mountain biking and soccer. In her spare time, Maya works at Sacred Ride in Nelson. Playing in the outdoors has always been a priority for Maya, and helping women and youth realize their goals in sport, has followed closely behind. Certificates:
