Fall riding is only as fun as your technical clothing....

You can be toasty warm with minimal bulk and good ventilation.  Riding in fall in BC or in southern Canada for that matter means light layer underneath and thermal wind deflect on top.  Simple as that.  For feet you can use neoprene booties but the deluxe option is DEFROSTER Specialized winter riding shoes ( which I start using in September to November and April - May)  Two pairs of riding gloves are required : either a heavy pair and a medium or a medium and a heavy.  If you are lucky and yo...

COMMAND SEATPOST
This functions just as it should.  If you install it correctly and place the lever in a good position for YOUR hand, it works like a dream.

Lever-  Best thing about lever is that it is a hinge attachment so you can move it around on your bars easily with no need to slide anything off your handlebars!! Bonus. However my lever was placed too far inside of brake and gear levers thus required me to take my hand off grips to press it down. This is not a functional position ...

Who Is Cindy Devine?

Cindy Devine
Rossland,Bc

Cindy Devine is not her accomplishments.Cindy Devine is an ordinary Canadian, who happened to accomplish some extra- ordinary things in cycling. Before she became a World Downhill Mountain Bike Champion and Hall of Fame'er, she was a regular BC homegrown kid who grew up riding a sparkly Mustang banana seat bike in elementary school. This progressed to a 10 speed CHIMO which she thought nothing of riding from Mission to English Bay as a young teenager just to get away from Hicksville Ruskin,BC, and then a twenty year old who cycled across Canada to get an identity, a connection to her community, her country. She is an ordinary Canadian kid who found cycling an antidepressant, an escape from a dysfunctional family, and a way to feel in control of something. As many other cyclists will tell you.. everything gets better after the first 2 km on your bike! All your troubles fall behind you. And now Cindy is a middle aged woman still passionate about cycling and particularly interested in getting newcomers on bicycles. It doesn't matter whether road or trail- JUST PEDAL.
